I ordered a laptop with mobile broadband from The Link, assuming it would be sent out straight away. When I called 2 days later it was only being sent out on that day, so I cancelled the order and requested a refund. I was told the refund would take up to 10 days. 11 days later I called again, querying why the money had not been refunded. I was told they would process it there and then for me, and it would be in my account with 7-10 working days. The person I spoke to gave me no apology, and could offer no explanation as to why they had not processed it the same day I cancelled my order. When I complained, she said he couldn't get through to the department. My query would be, if i had not rung to query it, would they ever have refunded it.
