HP Pavilion DV6000 Review

Good Points
Sleek Stylish design, great for office use and internet.

Bad Points
Videocard is worthless doesnt work as advertised 330MB 6150 GO cannot play anything made in the past decade. If you buy this laptop your going to have to play warcraft, counterstrike (not source) and other games that don't require anyhting over than a 64mb card. My nvidia 5600 can outperform the 6150go. Laptop hand resting area gets really hot, just from norm. I never though something like this would bother me but its really hot, i usually take breaks away from he laptop.

General Comments
Great for business or office application. Worthless for games. Cannot play anything past direct x 8 without lagging horribly. Call of duty 4 on Lowest details lags beyond playability and my 9600xt with a p4(6yr old videocard) can play that game on full details with shadows without lag. VIdeocard is not as advertised. In this day of age where a pentium II can do office work and watch movies i would expect a lot more from a amd turion 64 and 330mb videocard. Don't expect to play games on this laptop. applications run ok if laptop is defragged and under 50% memory but after that the laptop starts lagging.
