Drive inside your car inside their enclosure !
Fantastic for Photographers !
Outstanding value for money
Bad Points
Can get a little busy in season but out of season you might be the only car in the compound !
I wish I lived 150 miles closer !!!
Being picky - the giraffes are "out of the way" and difficult to see.
General Comments
I cannot rate this West Midlands Wildlife safari park highly enough. To be able to get within feet of wild animals including Lions and wild dogs is fantastic. For photographers this is an absolute dream location.
A leisurely drive through the park will take about an hour then you can get something to eat / comfort stop and go through again for no extra charge and even more times if you so desired.
An extra bonus is a steam train also runs the track at the back of the park and a lucky photographer can capture the animals with the train as a backdrop.
But back to the animals - lions can stroll right up to your car - so close you might need to wash your wheels when you get home.
Therefore, if you have children in the car PLEASE make sure childlocks are secure together with windows etc - just common sense.
I have visited WMSP three times now and I will definitely be going again. It is great value for money and very well policed by onsite rangers in jeeps - watching them keep the rhinos under control is another attraction.
There are also elephants and giraffes, buffalo, cheetahs and dozens of other attractions - a great day out.
I cannot recommend this Safari park highly enough.
