Stylish product good range of colours and of leather types typical Italian soft furnishings
Bad Points
Poor quality filings, foams and webbing supports after 14 months the seats were collapsing and leather stretched due to this lack of support. the small booklet supplied with the suite says that the frames are made from beech wood which would be traditional but ours is manufactured from chipboard throughout.
General Comments
We purchased our sofa 2 x 2 seater and 1 x single seater from Calia Italia and they were delivered 2005. After the 12 month warranty expired we noticed that the foams were beginning to collapse and it was difficult to raise ones self from the seats. The foams were repaired under insurance but too late the whole business is now with the financial ombudsman but the out come is possibly not good for us. Today we went to the furniture outlet from whom we purchased the suite only to be told that they had discontinued the product range from Calia Italia and were sourcing from a Spanish supplier something very similar
we would not recommend to purchase from this manufacturer.
