Bowling and other activities were much to overpriced.
General Comments
My family have been to Center Parcs, Longleat Forest over nine times each time we dread the thought of coming back home to once the holiday is over. We loved the swimming pool. My dad quoted "We went down the rapids more then anyone else who has ever been!" That was true we went down nine times in a row! My oldest daughter plunges down them. My middle daughter is a bit wary but likes them. As for me I adore them but I do feel the need do flop into the whirlpool. The toddler slides are great for my youngest daughter. The baby slides are great if you have a child aged one or two.
The villa was great. We stayed in the cheapest three bedroom one. It was lovely with the hot fire crackling away.
We enjoyed meals at the . There were lots of nice cafes including The Grand Cafe, the sports cafe, the pancake house and especially Cafe Rouge which we really loved. The play area was great in Hucks. But we found the service not as good as Cafe Rouge. In Strada we waited for over an hour for the food to come. It was nice but not worth the wait. Also it was very dark and gloomy and our service was not very good.
The nature and the forest was lovely. The peaceful greenery cooled us all down. We saw deer, rabbits and many types of birds. The walks to our villa were stunning.
The activities seemed too expensive for us.
We loved the lake and Jarden de Sports and the Plaza. They were all great!
We all really enjoyed our holidays there. It is a wonderful place.

Centre Parcs say that is was due to refurbishment, I beleive it was due to labour costs at this quiet time of the year. Albeit still great choice in the eating department.
