General Comments

The Continental Tourer tyre has a strange characteristic. I have it as a rear tyre with a Bridgestone Battalax on the front of '97 Ducati 750SS. Under full acceleration in first gear it tends to lose traction giving the rear end a slight wobble which wasn't the case with Battalax. Around corners it can drift out slightly, however it's a confident consistent drift, no surprises. At the same time I recall taking a sharp bumpy corner on a highway rather quick and there wasn't a glitch! It handled very well with a pillion also. In terms of wear, I got ~7,000km out of it compared to ~11,000km from Battalax. I recon both tyres got abused the same but Battalax did more of touring.
This tyre introduced a different style of riding to me but I prefer to go back to the more confident ride of Battalax.
