My initial experience with Elephant was good - until I had to make an accident claim.

I called Elephant and a lorry was arranged to come and collect my car as it was not drivable. I was referred to a garage called I have fully comp insurance and was told I would receive a call from the garage regarding a courtesy car. The garage informed me that no courtesy cars were available at that time. Eventually through constant nagging of Elephant, I was provided with a hire car.

The courtesy car was a Peugeot 207 and suprisingly nice to drive. - after my car being in the garage for over a month (to fix a radiator and some front end damage) the mechanic who inspected the courtesy car told me it would be £80 for a tiny stone chip to the back bumper.

All in all Elephanthave so far not refunded the £80 or the money I spent commuting to work by public transport when I had no courtesy car!
