Cheap SMS rate - one rate for all countries. Excellent applications - gives you many choices for voip calls - Free Txt, Vyke Voip, Vyke Pro, Vyke Lite, Vyke Web, Callback, etc. Free calls to UK, USA and some other EU countries(4p setup), The Free Txt app is exceptionally good, also Vyke Pro. Supports SIP - Installs well on SIP phones.
Bad Points
Billing system inconsistent, lack of clarity on SMS pricing - seems to vary by 3- -3.2p. Charges as 2 SMS if over 160 chars. Complexity over multiple accounts - these can be initially suspended. Complexity over accounts with same email address?? Vyke Support seems slow.
General Comments
Can be a winner, but need to sort out all unnecessary issues and Support.
Needs to run a much tighter ship to succeed in this market. Pricing cheaper overall, but operation appears to me to be sloppy and lazy compared to other providers like Truphone, Localphone etc.No problem that cannot be resolved - if Vyke has the desire and will,
