I always pay the full balance off my Sky Credit card every month however this month their payment facility was broken and it was several days after the due date before I paid my balance. I phoned Sky to see if they would waive the interest as it was their fault but I ended up speaking to a difficult customer service person. She refused to allow me to speak with a manager.

One would think that the banks would be trying to present a better face after the mess they got us into but no, just more of the same. I have written to Skycard to complain but I know what the reply will be so in a couple of weeks I will complain to the FSA, unfortunately I don't hold out much hope.

I spend between £500 and £1000 a month on my card so although I will lose my sky points by closing the account they will lose much more. Their problem, I can get another reward card they have lost a customer. Only good point is you earn Points towards Sky TV
