Good Points

Beautifully stable whatever the weather conditions. Comfortable even for long journeys. Excellent underseat storage (3 full Tesco bags + one spread out)!

Bad Points

Tendancy to rattle a little, but no-one can find out from where!! Fuel tank could be bigger, but what the heck - nothing in life is perfect.

General Comments

I've gone through the basic Burgman range of 125 and 400 over the last five years, but the AN650 AZ is something else. It's supposed to be a limited edition, although I can't quite discover in what way. It has both seats heated, heated grips, electric windshield and electric retractable mirrors, and finally ABS.
For me, this is biking at its comfortable best, and although it is heavy at 265Kgs, it is an absolute dream to ride.
Around the town, fuel consumption is not great, but what would you expect from such a heavy bike? On the open road, about 130 miles is the best you can hope for, so a bigger tank would be a help. I've been told that the torque is better than an equiv' CBR, and I believe it - the power is quite awesome. Let the "real" bikers scoff; I've shown our local club that the Burgman 650 is equal, if not better, than most!
