Good Points

Friendly staff, clean, not too far from the ski lifts, relatively cheap drink prices

Bad Points

Strict evening meal time, poor quality food, limited space in room for drying out ski stuff

General Comments

Just spent a week in Passo Tonale staying at the Hotel Eden. The resort is good for all skiing standards, but has a limited ski area if you like a lot of variety. The main Tonale ski area is not very sheltered, so it is worth heading down to the tree lined runs around Pontedilegno and Temu if the weather is bad. The town itself is quite quiet, but there are a number of good bars and hotels to have a drink. La Botte is a good bet if you enjoy hot chocolate. The Hotel Eden accomodation was good and the staff were generally friendly. It is also in a reasonably good location, about 5mins walk in ski boots from the nearest chairlift. The only major downside of the hotel for us was the evening meal. If you want a relatively cheap hotel and aren't bothered about a decent evening meal then the Eden is a good bet. If you are looking for a nice hotel with quality food, then the Miramonti is probably a better idea (although it is considerably more expensive).
