Very good holiday at Flamingo Beach Hotel, Mombassa. Unfortunately African Safari are no longer using their own planes or ship which I am sure will affect the camaraderie of the holiday which is a shame however the gourmet pass works well and its an adventure going to other hotels to taste the meals. The traders on the beach are a bit of a nuisance but try and ignore them. They are not allowed in the hotel grounds. Very good value holiday. Hope its as good in March 2009. Will let you know. I've been back to the flamingo twice now and guess what we are going again. We have always had good service and the staff at the hotel were brilliant. There were some problems initially but if you tell the staff they are willing to help and will do all they can to correct things. Cant be that bad if we are going again.
