Bad Points

unstable no where you could build a business as they dont listen to sellers and come up with changes that ruin the basics of your business , very high fees .
they limit payment options to a payment option they can charge you fees on . they expect sellers to ship at a loss or charge customers by the backdoor to get more fees for them .
very nasty atmosphere


General Comments

Ive been selling on ebay since the late 1990s and gradually the company has become worse and worse .
you will find very few sellers that have a good thing to say about ebay , most are either jumping ship or looking to .
you had a company that had great customer loyalty that was built by people telling their friends and ebay has betrayed them .

their going away from the core business auctions , their driving away small sellers in droves making the site less and less interesting .
I would advise anyone thinking of selling online to not start with ebay or have anything to do with the company , there are other newer up and coming venues where you have some sort of future .
I feel sorry for the lower level staff of ebay because I think the company is heading for a nose dive .
it exists now on what it did a few years ago but people looking for variety, good deals, and a good platform to sell from are starting to look elsewhere. it was once the best auction site on earth , introduced a lot of people to online buying and selling.
