Tom Tom map update - Western and Central Europe sounded like a good idea, saved carrying excess weight of device across Europe. Day of departure, thought I should update the maps, 6 hour download, following screen instructions, I didn't read the small print, 'make backup of device' I believe it was a memory issue,
software now says map is on 'my computer' directory, follow screens through and it says done, leaving device with 'No Maps Installed'. Careful if conecting your device to the web. Hopefully can get fixed or refunded, or its bin fodder. Contacting TomTom support is not easy either.
