This Hotpoint BWD129 washer dryer has twice sucked small items between the drum and seal- once ripping an item. This has twice blocked the machine causing flooding in my kitchen. I have only had the model 4 months and yet I have had to have three engineers look at it (the first one couldn't diagnose the problem)- and they said that there is nothing wrong with the machine, but that they had never seen anything like this before. I can only conclude that this is a design flaw of the machine, but when I contacted Hotpoint they just recommended that I use laundary bags (which I had already started doing). I bought a hotpoint as I thought it was a name I could trust- I have been severely disappointed.
