I have been a member of Total Fitness for several years and yes like the rest of the people commenting on their performance I have been very critical of them but then if you look at reviews for other clubs Total Fitness comes out very well. That ' s not to say we don't want improvements.
This last year they made a huge investment in the Bolton Gym and I have to say its much better but its always those niggling things like the steam room or hydrotherapy pool not working sometimes, cold showers, gym too hot too cold, music too loud etc and things take a long time to be dealt with .
Having said this a lot of problems are caused by inconsiderate members themselves, vandalising equipment and facilities which spoils it for others .
Anyway I have to say that if you want a gym that's got plenty of equipment and facilities rather than somewhere to pose Total Fitness has everything and is good value for money.
