Flight from Bridgetown to LGW on January 19th. Transit was a nightmare, thanks to a misunderstanding between Virgin Atlantic Airways and my booking agent. The flight was crammed, screen and headphones were broken, no water was served for about three hours. When I finally rang for attention (not wanting to wake the elderly lady sleeping in the aisle seat next to me) a rather grumpy crew member mumbled something about only just having finished with the duty free, which apparently takes precedence over passenger service. He then informed me that I'd had "liquid from the bar and liquid with dinner" before reluctantly producing a tiny beaker of water.

You'll be advised to bring your own food and water when flying VA..
