The food, once the best I'd had is appalling. I couldn't eat what was served on my flight over because the smell was so off. I did eat on the way back and became violently ill on the plane. Food poisoning is hard to pin down so I won't insist that it was the airline food. What was equally bad though, was that between bouts of being violently ill, I had to endure the flight crew insisting that it couldn't possibly be their food or the whole plane would be sick. Not what I should have had to listen to when I could barely hold my head up.

Nil customer service. When I mentioned that an optional foot rest that I didn't want kept falling down so that I had no leg room the flight attendant said "nothing I can do about that; it's a maintenance problem." Gives you lots of confidence. They said they'd call a doctor to be waiting when we landed but they didn't. At least they had a wheelchair waiting for me.

CDG is a terrible airport but at the Air France windows at least they should be able to give coherent information. On our first flight we were sent first to one window then another. Four times. It turned out that the same flight the day before had been cancelled and they were fitting those passengers on our flight and only fitting us on the plane if there were seats remaining. No apologies, no effort to make any of the process more comfortable. I have to work for this. I should say that I am a former fan of Air France but they have plummeted. So, the blanket and pillow seemed to be clean. The movie selection was fine.
