General Comments
First of all, the Samsung U3 is a good budget player.

I bought this one for my sister, back at christmas and I truly must say, the U3 provides far more than I've expected.
The overall sound quality is very good, which (I think can be referred to Samsung's technique called DNSE). Anyhow, the player, itself, is easy carry around and it provides everything neccessary to listen to music but unfortuneletly that's about it.
Listening to music is one thing, but controlling your player to play the desired song another. I mean, I tried this device for about 3 days, but still coudln't find out where I had to hit the buttons in order to play the next or previous song.
Furthermore I would have expected that the U3 would work like a n USB stick, but in order to so, I had to install a special firmware (the Korean one) to make the U3 "USB drive functional", which is I think a pity, especially for those ones who are not really familar with computers.

Anyways my conclusion for this player is: Are you interested in a good player, which is not really expensive but offers you enough functions to listen to good music? If so, you'd take a look at the U3. For people who do not require a MP3-player to be a multi-functional, the U3 should be just the perfect device.

Else, for the rest, I'd recommend you to go for another device, which resp. can be more expensive.
