Good Points

The standard that others are measured against.

Steep learning curve to get the best out of it.


General Comments

I have used photoshop for over 4 years and this version is excellent. I have tried CS4 on a friends machine but we struggled to import all his plugins so we are sticking with CS3.

As with all editing programs, the more you use and play with it, the better the results you will get. It cannot do everything that other similar packages have but it will do most. As a complete solution imho it is the best package for the PC thats out there.

Be careful with the plugins though as not all will seemingly work with CS3 after upgrading. And for me, some for CS3 do not seem to work for CS4 if you upgrade again !
