I recommend Taken for the social awareness factor. Also, it does show that the bad guys, really are bad and don't have a slick moral code underneath their bad tuff exterior, they are just plain worthless trash. Famke is weak. Why are all exwives married to millionares? No realistic. Why do all exwives lie to the husbands? ok they do, but predictable. So all in all the movie was redeemable in that it shows the total lack of conncern for human life by the underworld of criminals, and the ongoing slave trafficing in women. Just wish Sean Connery had played this part.
Brings to life the real problem of female abduction going on, and slavery that still exists today in the trade of women worldwide (including the U.S.) It shows very well the connection to the police and governments as to WHY this problem still exists in the world today.
Liam is not Sean Connery, or Pierce Brosnan, or even Bruce Willis. The dialog was weak, and the movie was too short, I think some key scenes hit the cutting room floor explaining how the charactor got from one place to another in many instances.
