Easy enough to use menus.
Bad Points
I found the DVD drive to be unreliable, and very buggy firmware.
General Comments
We purchased a Lite-On to replace a VCR, we thought it was make life easier. To begin with it was great, but then things started to go downhill.
The DVD drive refused to prepare blank media, different types were tried, all failed. We found that cleaning the laser would improve matters for a short while, but we rarely burnt a disc so why was it getting so dusty so quickly (it's also kept in a closed TV cabinet.) When it fails to prepare a disc it leaves the disc unusable. When it does write a DVD it'll freeze the machine if I look at the DVD page to see how much free space is left, this requires an unplug which again leaves the disc unuseable. Incredibly, it'll sometimes fail to read a disc that it has successfully burnt and finalised - yet a standalone player can read it!
When it was purchased, I loved the machine - now I loathe it, it has been nothing but trouble. I would never consider buying anything made by Liteon again.
