Flaine is part of Grand Massif area so there was more than enough to do for all types of skiers, we had beginners and experts in our party and no one was bored.

Only an hour transfer from Geneva airport.

Lifts open 9am - 4:30pm.

High resort so long season.

Village centre not pretty but building lots of new chalets on mountain.
Ski school was cheaper than other resorts. We also did snowmobiling and husky dog sleighing. Stayed at a brand new development Intrawest -Montsoleil (apparently the people who built the Whistler resort) it was clean and convenient with ski in/ski making easy access on to the slopes.
