“The Volkswagen Transporter 85PS 1.9TDI is comfy and...”

The Volkswagen Transporter 85PS 1.9TDI is comfy and looks good for a van. It's easy for long drives. The firm seat is great for my back ,it's my fourth transporter starting form the 1979 model. The strange thing about driving them all is the first was the best. High roof for full trade racks as Im under 1800mm 6ft it's a problem if you use it for material transport ,my mates vito is a lot lower! .when it was first bought it would stall a lot for no real reason I thought it was me and my driving style. on the first sevice there was a recall on the trans oil ,the problem went away ,this did not impress me with vw at all .I had the impression that they were a top of the range german car company ,the problem in my opinion should have been fixed straight away instead I went for 5 months of stalling .service costs seem to be huge $600 plus for a standard sevice ,1.5 % of purchase price ! my local car sevice center is $160. Drives well for a van but the mirrors take a bit to get used to, but next time I will look around for whats on the market instead of having in my mind vw or bust.
