Good Points

Vauxhall Calibra Turbo 4x4 is super quick, cheap to tune.

Bad Points

Finding one with an engine in that some spotty teenager hasnt taken out to put in a Nova! Transfer box is costly to replace.

General Comments

Absolutely savage performance, my Vauxhall Calibra Turbo was doing 0-60 in less than five seconds without costing the earth to tune. Beat Supra TT, skyline and a few evo's.
Great looks, cheap to tax, insure and generally run. This is a serious bit of kit that will do well over 160mph (chip it and you will get just shy of 180mph, trust me). How many cars for any amount of money can do that? Very underrated makes them very desirable to people in the know!! Nothing better than when you leave somebody in your 4wheel dust! No turbo lag at any revs, reasonably comfortable although when lowered can be a bit rough, nothing major really. The grip is fantastic when launching and on drag runs, cornering is good but not as grippy as scoobys and evos.

I have owned various cars and nothing has come close to the performance of my Vauxhall Calibra Turbo 4x4. It will quite literally pull a muscle in your back when you have it boosting at 20 psi.

Overall, Excellent and cheap, reasonably reliable and looks amazing even now!!
