I have a an Epson 1290 and have used Jet Tec cartidges and Paper for eighteen months or so without any conspicuous problem. Absolutely no jet clogging except after a long (two weeks or more) downtime...but it has always cleared after one or two prints. But they do require a little colour rebalancing away from yellow.
