Wrong car rental class bookings, After sales service
General Comments
We booked a car through eBookers for our trip to South Africa. The booking specified a VW Polo or similar - it even had a photo of a VW Polo. However, when we got to Europcar we were informed that we booked the lowest class of car and that a VW Polo is 4 classes higher! It took us 2 days of phone calls from South Africa to the UK and all eBookers said was that we must speak to the local car hire branch. We did this and guess what, they said they couldn't do anything about it. eBookers even said we didn't complain quickly enough (should've refused the car at the airport) - what did they expect, that we should walk to our destination? I will never use them again.
