I bought a Creative Zen Mozaic 8 GB yesterday and have to say that generally I am disappointed. I didn't want to spend too much on something that I won't use that often.

I found the size a struggle after years of easy texting on mobile phones and the navigation system is poor, Also, the screen is smaller than most mobile phones and has inferior resolution. There is a zoom function, but this only zooms into the centre of the picture.

The sound quality is good though for the price paid.

The 'create playlist' function does not work and there is no firmware update available. I consider an mp3 player to be useless without this. Creating a playlist is cumbersome from start to finish and when you think it's done, the list contains all tracks, not just those you have selected.

The playlist problem is a saving grace actually, because it means I can get a money back refund.

Very disappointed with this player and I will now avoid Creative's products as a result.

To summarise, I cannot recommend this product.
