Value for money

The Pentax Optio W30 is super easy to use
lots of settings for taking pictures of various types
Long battery life (could use the camera for 5-6 days taking pictures before it goes flat)
Dropped it a few times and it was still functional. Overall I liked it. Small and easy to carry, takes good video and pictures.

The case cracked at the point where the battery and memory card go in. Got water in the camera and it no longer works. This happened after 2 years of using it on whitewater kayaking on the river so it's still fairly durable.
I was told by the salesperson that it floats. It does not float at all.
