We have suffered the unfortunate situation of having 2 accidents within the space of 6 weeks apart & going from 2 cars to 1 for financial reasons.

On the first occasion we were left completely in the dark about what was happening with our vehicle because we had a second car. However, once I started chasing churchill for an update they simply gave me the contact details of the garage it was meant to be at & left me to my own devices. Surprise, surprise I found our my car hadn't even arrived yet over a week later! Churchill only became directly involved once I threatened to report my car stolen/missing with the police if I didnt have an answer as to its location within the hour! but eventually we did get our car back on the road 3 weeks after the incident.

Our second accident with our new car (though only new to us) which was still insured fully comprehensive, happened after owning the vehicle for exactly 1 week resulted in the vehicle being written off! Though thankfully no one was hurt. Once again churchill have left us in the dark with the only information being given when we contact them directly. Today over a week after the accident, we received a call from the engineer & agreed a settlement figure, now Churchill are claiming before we are paid out they need to check for outstanding hp & other facts before we even get a letter of offer. In short we will be left without a car for nearly 4 weeks SO MUCH FOR FULLY COMPREHENSIVE churchill. Still now in our 40's we believe in once bitten twice shy so any future insurance policys will be taken out with other companies
