I have been trying to arrange a trip to Thailand. Expedia provide a good website where you can book everything at once. This, we are told, is advisable as you are better protected than if you book flights, accommodation, etc. separately. However sometimes there are errors on their website. On querying this by email I am told they are unable to reply by email and that I would have to call their premium rate phone line.

They seem to keep you on hold for long periods of time and have never been able to answer any question properly, so far. It would appear that you are calling a call centre who just have the standard replies available to them. Fortunately I was able to find a non premium rate number from the internet to make my calls. However several of the numbers gave a recorded message of the number being unobtainable.

It's all very well having a good website but that is useless if you cannot contact Expedia to ensure your holiday is book correctly without paying a fortune on a premium rate phone line.
