Good Points

The hard carrycot is very sturdy and cosy for your newborn. The hood is very easy to raise and lower, and the cot is easily attached and removed from the chassis. The seat unit for 6+ month old is very comfy too as it is well padded. Good looking pram, quite unusual if you like something that not everyone else has. Very handy that the car seat slips on the chassis so as not to wake the baby.

Bad Points

I found the chassis to be really heavy and when folded, isn't compact. You really need big muscles and a big boot in your car for transporting this about. When you move from the carrycot to the seat unit, I thought it was really inconvenient to assemble when I wanted to use the hood on the pushchair, as it is attached to both the seat and the chassis. Also the zips on the raincovers are really stiff and the zip on the raincover for the carrycot actually broke. We kept getting loads of punctures so not sure about the inner tubes, and the tube on the pump that you get unfortunately broke after its second use. Another negative is that you cant leave the carseat adaptors on the chassis if you are changing between the carseat and the seat unit, so you keep having to put the adaptors on and off.

General Comments

The Maxi-Cosi Mura 3 wheeler would be a great pram if you only walked on pavements and didn't have to dismantle and assemble it often. If you can keep it assembled in a porch or shed it would be a huge advantage. Apart from the problems with punctures etc, I do quite like the pram and it is really solid-looking. I wouldn't consider this pram if you intend to get on and off buses. Although in general I like the pram, with hindsight I would have chosen a different make.
