Features are good for a £330 TV set. Text in picture. Screen rotation. Screen picture modes.
Annoying (normally) red flickering horizontal(ish) line in the top left hand corner on 'Normal' mode.
Picture alters in brightness.
When selecting the screen viewing mode of 'NORMAL' on the Sharp 66FW53H TV, this brings in two thick black vertical lines on each side of the screen to switch it from a widescreen view to that which you would get from a normal TV (which is fine). The problem is that in the top left hand corner of the screen there is a thin flashing red horizontal line which flickers on and off at regular random intervals. This is particularly distracting when watching the TV. You can rotate the screen in one direction using the on screen menus and thus rotate off the top of the screen, however, if you rotate in the other direction it gets worst.
Please bear in mind that this is the second TV set I have had as I exchanged the first one with the store due to this very same problem.
Is it a fault or just a small annoying problem with this set.
Anyone know?
