Ford Focus 1.6 LX 5dr Review

Good Points
I've had the focus over 6 months and i'm still looking for the good points

Bad Points
1.6 engine seems to be slow, compared with other cars, fuel consumption is low compared to what ford say it should do, body work & doors seem poor against the Mondeo, and if you own an automatic the tax is £210 and the manual is cheaper why, the alarm on the 1.6 LX only cuts the engine, no audible alarm, which in this day and age should be standard

General Comments
compared to the ford Mondeo the Focus is below standard, I part ex my lovely Y reg 2.0 Mondeo (old shape) for a 54 reg Focus 1.6 and i wish i still had the Mondeo, ford cars are reliable but the smaller models don't seem in the same class or range as the slightly bigger cars, its about time more attention to comfort and the feel of the cars was changed because when you close the door on the Focus it sounds tinny and cheap, like older cars used to be.
