Good Points

Always settled claims quickly


Bad Points

Gone from nil excess to £70
Premiums have doubled. Customer services not willing to discuss or negotiate with me.


General Comments

I too was disgusted with M&S when I got my policy renewal. Despite a very small claim during last year ( £65) my 3 year old pedigree dog's cover has more than doubled. When I rang to query this I was told it was because they had changed underwriters. I was on the top cover policy, they did not offer me any alternatives and customer service staff weren't helpful. I have taken my business elsewhere. The minor problem my dog had the year before will not be covered, but then it will not cost me more than £300 to put right, which was the amount the policy had doubled.
Also had the same thing with their home insurance. They have lost me as a customer for both.
