General Comments
The Prestige Smartplus Stainless Steel Pressure Cooker 6lt does exactly as it says on the box, very easy to use, good instructions, really good cookery book. Who ever said that these models are rubbish is totally wrong.
When using a pressure cooker you always need to grease the gasket with cooking oil- vegetable oil is best before each use and especially if it is new or when using a new gasket for the first time. This information was given to me from a 1978 pressure cooker cook book owned by my sister in law who is responsible for getting me in to pressure cooking.
