Good Points

Absolutely superb sound at a very modest price. Very reliable too, never had a problem in 5 years ownership.


Bad Points

Remote is fidely, somewhat difficult to read in some lights. But this is the only downside I can think of!!!


General Comments

The Panasonic SA HE7 is a really excellent start-up suystem for 5:1 surround sound. Easy to set up - when you have sorted the myriad of wires behind the unit - and many useful features. Even the radio tuner works well! The design is classical - it has certainly passed the test of time and is still as refreshingly modern as it was when bought new. Had my amp for some 5 years now and have no intention of getting rid of it - if you see a SA-HE7 system on eBay snap it up!! One thing: mine came with the matching Panasonic speakers which are fine in themselves but I have now replaced them with some top notch hi-fi speakers which increase the quality even more.
