General Comments
I got the first 2 bills from The Post Office via the post despite setting up a direct debit on application for the broadband service. The reason I have stated it as a good point is that since ringing and setting up a direct debit (for the second time) I have received no direct debit out of my account in 5 months.
On one occassion the broadband service did not work for 24 hrs, I rang them up and was told to make sure I had the correct cables installed, despite the fact that my profession is as a software engineer who deals with regularly large scale web servers (i.e same stuff as their servers). After a 90 min pointless conversation with the helpdesk guy at the other end, nothing was resolved. A day later after me making virtually no changes to the router settings, my Internet was working again.
My main flaw however is with the billing. When I applied I asked specifically that a direct debit be set up, this never happened despite me giving the correct bank details. On receipt of two bills, i rang again and set up the direct debit. They told me bills would be sent quarterly. 2 quarters have past and still no bill. There is really not much to say.
