General Comments

It took an age to get through to Direct Line Car Insurance
Had to call them back as they left a message saying the wanted me to contact them
Garage they nominated didnt contact me as promised
Policy says car will be collected - I had to take it to the garage to be assessed
Repair cant be done until February
I week on and they have not contacted the other driver
I have to pay £200 excess upfront even tho the accident wasnt my fault In my experience, Direct Line Car Insurance have been soooo slow!
Made a claim a few years back - with Diamond,
the accident was my fault phoned them that night, the car was collected next day and returned fully valeted within the week
I have had to take the car to be assessed, and am expected to take it to the garage my self to be repaired
The garage is miles from anywhere so how do they expect me to get back home?
my policy documents state quite clearly that the car will be collected and delivered back to me - cleaned inside and out

The garage DL have nominated doesnt appear to provide a valet service - but I might be wrong
