QWERTY keyboard, screen is wider than it is deep so web pages are easier to view, good battery life, durable, looks good.
Bad Points
My Sling Box is not compatible with it (that's all that I could come up with and I guess most people wouldn't be fussed anyway!)
General Comments
A great mobile phone. My previous one was a Nokia N95 8GB. It is nice to get away from slider for a change and I like the QWERTY keyboard, though it did take a while to get used to as I found buttons small to start with, but am more than used to it now. I have switched off predictive text mode as more of a hinderence than a help (still haven't really bought into the concept as it is QWERTY anyway!). I have the phone on contract with the 3 network and take advantage of their pushed email service that works perfectly. Who needs a rather dull Blackberry?! Google maps used with the phone's GPS is fantastic - I can get accurate positioning even indoors. The mobile is solid, thin and durable. I have clumsily dropped it several times on carpeted and laminet floor and not a mark to show for it - and it continues to work perfectly! Nokia have gone away from their rather plasticy N9x design to one that is more professional and smart looking. The back of the mobile is shiny metallic and the it has a good, solid feel. There are four main shortcut buttons that double up to 8 quick application links. You can select another 5 short cuts in 'home' mode and another 5 in 'work' mode and switch between the 2 modes with ease. Web-browsing is fast enough with its 3G connection and connects nicely with my wireless broadband at home. I highly recommend this mobile and can't imagine wanting (or needing) to upgrade to anything else anytime soon, which is certainly a first for me!
