I purchased my S200 mk2 nearly 3 years ago and you may wonder why has it taken so long to write a reveiw?. I have always used springers prior to my s200 and its taken alot to get used to this rifle because the rifle is so quiet (air arms silencer fitted), its very light, easy to handle and great for pest control. I have mainly used the rifle for Rats,Rabbits and Squirrels. The rifle when new is factory set to 10.5 ft pounds. I have used the rifle at these settings from day i purchased it with No problems in dispatching small vermin, however i recently was looking on the internet and there are various stories that the S200 mk2 power can adjusted up. so i called into a local gunsmith for some advice, they advised me to drop my rifle into them and they will test the rifle and improve power if possible. I collected the rifle today and boy there is a big difference it is now registering between 10.9-11.7ft pounds. The gunsmith fitted a new seal & bolt and adjusted power!!. I was thinking of purchasing the mk3 model but not anymore!. Go out and buy one of these rifles and you won`t regret it. very light, nice to handle and worth every penny!

I found this review helpful because...I have recently obtained a S200
Mk 2 .22 caliber I have found that over 35 yds I can see the pellets drop quite a lot from what I expected. About 3 inches (8oclock)from the orginal zeroed distance of 25 yards.all with 20mm. Slight cross wind 5mph
I know that the .177 caliber had a much flatter trajectory & accept that the .22 is a heavier pellet, but is this ecessive?
I have been using H&N trophy, I seem to recollect that on the shop chrono using their pellets the read out was 10.16 or maybe 10.62 so maybe the rifle needs a tune up. The pressure in the tank would be about 160 as I had put about 30 shots down range from a fill up of 190. Any idea's?
