General Comments

We were in an accident on sat 29th nov when 3rd party crossed in front of us, police called, she was charged. We phoned Saga at time of accident 1700hrs told they could not do anything until Monday and advised them we were 85 miles from home but not interested. Made a 2nd call 3hrs later as we were fully comp and felt we should have more help from them, told same again. We had to get ourselves and 2 teenagers and car home next day ourselves. (Car undrivable) phoned and spoke to a manager on Monday, he did admit we should have been brought home, but no compensation offered to us, have not heard from them since, third party insurance have been very helpful, we are in our 50s imagine this happening to an elderly couple.

    I found this review very helpful because... it reflects exactly the problems that we are experiencing now, following an accident abroad (not our fault) we were stationary in a queue of traffic when someone ploughed into the back of the queue and we suffered from the domino effect. Only sorry that we didn't read it before switching from Norwich Union car insurance to Saga - we won't make the same mistake twice!
