Bad Points


AXA was quick to send somebody round to secure our property after we had an attempted break in. The quality of the temporary board that was installed in place of my UPVC panel was nothing to write home about. The damaged door was installed by Anglia, still under warranty and double glazed. I explained to AXA that if another contractor other than Anglia repairs the damage it would invalidate my warrranty but of course they couldn't care less. Axa said they would phone me back a number of times but never did until I complained and requested they record my complaint. I asked Axa to give their contractor the go-ahead on a Friday. I didn't hear from the contractor so I telephoned late the following Tuesday to be told by the contractor that AXA had not given authorisation. Authorisation was finally given by AXA on Wednesday 14th and the contractor told me yesterday that their engineers are busy till Wed 28th Jan. I telephoned AXA yesterday (14th) at 10.55am to say this was not good enough. I was told a complaints manager would call back within 24 hours but as at now (Thurs 21:10) I am still waiting for the call.
