Good Points

They organise a range of activities for children which are good and the shows they organise are good.
SOme of the teaching was good and I felt that I had learnt things in the time I used to ride there.

General Comments

I have had lessons at Bank Farm Riding School Poynton, Stockport since I was 7 on and off, and wouldn't rate it highly. I felt the class sizes were far too big and some of the horses are too unpredictable for an inexperienced or nervous rider. I didn't like the fact that they made everyone in the class swap horses as I am quite nervous and was scared to swap onto a horse which I didn't trust. The last time i went to Bank farm, I went on a hack and the horse I rode wanted to bolt the whole way through the ride- I had to hold her back the whole way and it really put me off. I can't believe that horses are still being used that are so old. I don't like the stalls that the horses are kept in either- they are far too small!
