I have very curly hair (I am mixed) with about 3 different textures in my hair. Ultra tight curls underneath, a patch of really dry textured hair, and then the rest is soft tight curls. My hair looks like a dream when I'm done.
It is very important that your hair is washed, and then blown out (roundbrushes are good). I use an Ion dryer, and the end result is amazing.
I don't use any of the ghd styling products as I have heard that they are not too amazing. I use a handful of products from Sally Beauty Supply.

If you watch the dvd FIRST, follow the directions extactly, you will get what the ghd promises: beautiful hair.
