Good Points
we stayed a week at the Quinta Pedra dos Bicos and really enjoyed ourselves. The rooms are lovely, the restaurants is excellent, the service is 1st class and the staff are very friendly. theres a nice swimming pool and bar, its clean and the rooms are cleaned daily. the bathrooms are lovely and clean. The restaurant meals are very cheap, the chefs daily choice is only 10 euros and its 3 courses and a drink. very good value for money. its child friendly aswell which is good and the beach is a couple of minutes from the hotel and is beautiful. All the rooms have balconies with table and chairs and the views are great. we are already planning our next holiday but this time i will take the children.

Bad Points
only 2 channels in english on the tv (supplied) sky news and bbc world news and we arrived on a 10am flight so we had to wait a couple of hours after arriving to get into our room, but we could put our cases in a storage room until our rooms where ready. we just walked across the road and got some breakfast in a little cafe over the road until it was ready.

General Comments
Quinta Pedra dos Bicos is in a perfect location, lots of shops, supermarkets, and restaurants within 10 minutes of the hotel if you have no transport. most of the locals are either english or speak/ understand english so easy to communicate. I cant praise this hotel enough. I am looking forward to returning next year. there are daytrips available from local tour opperators which are quite cheap. but it pays to look around as prices vary between places.the cheapest is right next to the supermarket which is just round the corner from the hotel.buses are regular and cheap if you want to go further afield.lots for the kids to do.well worth the money for a 4* hotel with a 5* service.
