Very good and smooth sound, well built and more, than enough funcions.
Bad Points
Laser unit went suddenly blind and cost almost half the price of a new player to replace it.
General Comments
I heard a lot of players, but I'll keep this Technics SLPG-590 till the end of its life. I like it most with classical music, directly connected to my Yamaha final stage.
Maybe not the best choice for rock music fans.

Just push a button for a direct copy, it also works on various formats even HDCD. Not only is the recording quality of the highest standard but the playback isn't as good as my old Technics.
