Emailed eCar Insurance proof of no claims when I paid for the first month, they say they did not receive it. Got a letter to say they'd cancelled my insurance the day before I received the letter.
Immediately sent out (4) more emails with my proof of no claims, requesting read receipts on two. Emailed customer services as well. Couldn't phone the number as it was £1 per MINUTE as we were in France.. so that was perhaps a good thing!! Waited through the day, then emailed complaints as well. No reply to any emails yet at all, no read receipts either. Not as 'good' as it first appeared. I'm now insured elsewhere for less, with an insurer who has a good reputation.
Pleased I didn't have to claim....!!
