Frequently late, over crowded, insufficient information concerning delays


General Comments

I am a regular daily commuter on this line and find the service to be truly appalling. The morning service is delayed, most days by at least few minutes often up to 15 minutes or more - unacceptable for a commuter train. The evenings services fare little better. The compensation scheme for delayed and cancelled trains is cumbersome, involving having to fill in claim forms to be submitted which in turn a paid in rail vouchers. the old system of automatic compensation against the cost of the renewed season ticket ensured that the compensation was received.
