General Comments
I have visited FonteSasso on 3 occassions, twice during the summer, and once over New Year, and have every intention of returning for a fourth time! The villa is spacious,well equipt, and offers wonderful views over the surrounding countryside. In the summer the villas pool is a welcome luxury, and the beach is only a short drive away. In the winter, snow permitting, the skiing in the near-by mountains is an added bonus. The local shops and markets of Gualdo (an easy stroll) and Sarnano (a short drive) are great for pottering, and the surrounding restaturants offer the most amazing and authentic Italian food.I have always been made to feel very welcome by the villas owners who are a great source of knowledge on Le Marche region. Its a perfect place to escape from busy city life and I look forward to my next trip!!
